Research on country of origin information

We are tackling this research on Country of Origin Information given its special importance in support of gender-based requests for asylum, and as a result, in the recognition of people persecuted for these reasons as refugees.

To do this we have been able to rely on help from international bodies and organisations who are experts on the subject: Hungarian Helsinki Committee, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE), Women’s Link Worldwide and CEAR. Some information has also been checked with the Asylum and Refugee Office (ARO).
