Ecoi.net is a tool for lawyers, legal aids, international protection agencies, and agencies involved in asylum cases.
Comprehensive country of origin information with a focus on asylum applicants in Europe. Information is searched by country, bringing up reports and official documents concerning human rights violations. Sources include reports from the United Nations, long-standing NGOs, the media and governmental departments directly involved in asylum-related issues. Other sources are added on an ad-hoc basis if they provide valuable information. Users are required to register at no charge to access information.

Ecoi.net covers more than 150 sources in over 165 countries. It is managed by ACCORD, the Austrian Centre for Country of Origin and Asylum Research and Documentation (ACCORD), a department of the Austrian Red Cross. The network also collaborates with the German Informationsverbund Asyl & Migration and the Irish Refugee Documentation Centre.
