The ECRI, a human rights body of the Council of Europe,*is composed of independent experts who monitor problems of racism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism, intolerance and discrimination on grounds of race, ethnic origin, religion or language. It prepares reports and issues recommendations to Member States.
